M E 331: Geometric Modeling for Engineering Applications
- Catalog Description:
A junior level course introduces undergraduate engineering students to fundamental concepts in geometric modeling of engineering form, and computer-aided design of shapes, components, and assemblies. Lectures are reinforced by the laboratory experience where students operate modern commercial computer-aided design systems to model and to learn the basics of engineering communication, specification, and annotation. - Credits: 3
- Prerequisites or Corequisites: ME 231 & Math 320& Comp Sci 302 & either ME 240 or EMA 202
