E P D 618: Applied Leadership and Management of Engineering Organizations
- Catalog Description:
Addresses strategies, models, and practices for leading and managing engineering organizations in a context directly relevant to practicing engineers. Students will engage in self-reflection about styles, beliefs, and past experiences with leadership and management. Course project of direct relevance to students organization will integrate theory, models, case studies, and real-time experiences from students workplace. Students will gain broad exposure to diverse approaches to leadership and management, and a deeper understanding of how to put what is being learned into effective action.

- Prerequisites: Admission to Master of Engineering in Engineering Management distance degree program or department consent
